because #ME kills
Thank you to Laura Vitale and Colleen Steckel for this incredibly important  video.  Every life lost to ME is a huge tragedy. Every second of precious life wasted is unacceptable when you know that this illness has been neglected for years and leaves people in tortuous circumstances without relief, yet often mistreated and fighting denial. Those who kill themselves can no longer endure it. Those left have to keep choosing life. They have to keep enduring the unendurable. Those and others who die directly from the disease are a powerful reminder to us all that we have to do more to change this reality. We have to keep pushing for change so that no one else dies, whether from neglected health care, or from tormented choice. All loss of life is unacceptable, especially when seen within the context of the psychosocial manipulation that underpins the healthcare provision in so many countries and is at the centre of UK policy, as opposed to the genuine biomedical provision that is essential and should be offered instead.
